Hallow friends .All the best to all of you. Is it tiring to play in live band on age 70++ or it is just great and happiness.

Of course there's every reason to carry on doing whatever makes you happy and if people still enjoy what you do it can only make you feel younger and happier <3

Never having played in a band I can only imagine that the actual playing part would never cease to be fun no matter what age but hauling heavy gear around at 80 would be the unfun part if not physically impossible.:(:)

If you don't have Roadies to do the lifting... it's not fun when you get older:D

Sure we have sound support for major live performances. Of course in regular concerts with friends we need to move and use our band equipment.... But so far this is B)not problem..

I suppose the term Roadie isn't appealing anymore. Why not advertise for 'internship logistics in the entertainment industry'? :o

Playing at over 70 should continue to make us happy, but be careful! It is important to always try to do better by not just navel-gazing. :o

Krasimir is one of the few musicians here of whom I know that they're able to produce massive and repeately great input to Wikiloops as well as playing independently with the Rock Vets (look them up on Facebook).

Thank you. Yes music is something fantastic which keep us active, organized and with young soul. Rest of members of Rock Vets are between 40 and 50 years old. Wikiloops is great community which giving us option to play daily and enjoy variation of music styles. <3

Although I'm not quite 70 yet, I have some other parameters in the equation ;) But as age ripens you'll get inventive. Look for better accessible (un-)loading options of your (new) vehicle. Amplification and instruments have gotten lighter in the past few decades, and thus size, weight and handling of your equipment may be a consideration factor for upgrading your gear. Maybe even consider elimination of amplification by playing on (in-ear)monitors. Or foldable karts, etcetera, there are many options to keep the fun level higher than the frustrations and aches coming with old age... just enjoy it as long as you can.;)
