The Martian wind is blowing
Across the rocks and sand
Where rivers once ran, flowing
Across a fertile land
Mars, our solar neighbour
We see you in the sky
Our robots drive and labour
Across your land so dry
This dead and desert planet
Is what Earth will become
Deforestation! Ban it!
Fossil fuel is zero sum
And life on Earth will die at last
As did all life on Mars
The future come will soon be past
And lost among the stars
End
