Riding a bass boat looking for bigmouth,
Stevie got line in the stream,
Round about beer o'clock,
Gets a gigantic shock,
Hollers out a horrible scream.
It was a short necked, long tailed,
Gummy gilled, green scaled,
Bad-ass Wallamachoo,
Must-a been just about six feet long,
Meaner than a polecat too.
Down in deep it bit hard on the line,
Dragged the boat backward a spell,
When we cut the darn thing,
It popped up for a swing,
Smashed the back motor to hell.
It was a thin faced, thick skinned,
Razor tooth, black finned,
Mean-ass Wallamachoo,
Must-a been more or less eight feet long,
Tougher than a grizzly too.
Stevie and me, we both swam for our lives,
Boat sinking in to the blue,
We got back to the shore,
A few seconds before,
The big critter ate dinner for two.
It was a loose mouth, tight lipped,
Jimberjawed, snake hipped,
Mad-ass Wallamachoo,
Must-a been upwards o' ten feet long,
Faster than a mustang too.
