Having someone mix tracks for me

Hi all...
I have recently damaged my left ear which is driving me nuts BTW. I am waiting to see an ear specialist. Like someone else's post I read, I am currently nearly deaf in my left ear and my right ear is not much better with my high pitch falling off at around 3 Khz. Everything sounds like a cheap stereo with the bass set to 10 and the treble turned down to -10. It kinda sucks...
I was just wondering if there is a way that I could upload a track that I recorded and have someone mix the track back to the original loop that I added a part to???

I'm no mixing expert, I use Ozone 10 elements as my 'easy button' for mixing, but willing to help if you so choose.

Just upload the separate HD bass track (or guitar or whatever you played) with the count in clicks cut out of the track your playing on (so we can line the tracks up easily) and then someone will remix it for you. I'd drop it in my reaper and see what I can do with it. Not an expert either but I think my ears work OK. Sorry to hear about your ear damage Roger, that really sux!!

Sorry to hear of your problem BooDoggie. I might be able to help as I've done quite a lot of mixing. Let me know the IDs of the various tracks and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks guys... I have been working on some fretless bass parts for a couple of tunes, but I'm just not able to hear well enough to feel confident that they are worth uploading yet. I had one that I thought might make the cut, but after further review I'm not satisfied with it.

Sorry to hear about your ear... As already suggested, you could use a bass effect plug in on your daw to produce a "standard" mix, mention in the text that you can't say much about the mix due to hearing issues, but the uploaded HD track is available for mixing... When I did the pre mastering mix on my album I did just that...
