Battery Girl meets Power Guy

Way up high, at the top of mount doom,
Super villians huddle in the ray-gun room,
Jacking up the levels to a hundred and ten,
Getting set to try and blow the world up again.

Crash! Bang! Wallop! and the door comes down,
Worried super villians all spinning around,
Just in time to see a super-hero arrive,
Saying "How's it gonna be boys - dead or alive?"

Battery Girl! - Here she come now,
Battery Girl! - She's the one now,
Electrical powers, plenty of smarts,
(Workable knowledge of the martial arts.)

Pulses shoot out from her battery fingers,
Death rays fry and the burning smell lingers,
Super villians notice that she's down to one bar...
They cry "She's too low on power boys, she won't get far!"

But suddenly they hear somewhere up in the sky,
Flying down through the clouds - here come Power Guy!
He got exactly what a Battery Girl needs,
Like a whole lotta juice (plus a number of leads.)

Power Guy! - He came along too,
Power Guy! - Just to recharge you,
What ya gonna do when the juice runs low?
Just call up the Power Guy - go boy, go!

Within a manoeuvre illegal in Florida,
He's plugs in and starts pumpin' it into her,
Pretty soon she's up to a hundred percent,
And the villians surrender because they're all spent.

What a team! - B.G. and P.G!
Fighting crime! - New York to Fiji,
Clearly the worst super-heroes about,
(Thank God they've sorted the writers strike out.)

:D this is great, before i even started to read the lyrics, i imagined the male/female inputs for power/electricity lol. good stuff bassMonkey! :D so many ways to go with this...Tesla making birth control for Battery Girl...Power Guy needing a special adapter, only sold by Apple, to interface with Battery Girl...oh my! i want the comic book :)

Started as a silly phrase or two and worked up into a story with me thinking "any more crappy heroes and I might scream" but also thinking along the lines of similar angles and then being pretty sure I could write a series or two around this...
