I mentioned on the shout-out how it enfuriated me that a lot of the media is running with "Hi-Ho Silver Lining Guy dies.." makes my blood boil. There is so much... 60 years worth in fact (including the great vids above) but isn't it nice to to be talking to people where "Musician's Musician" isn't just shorthand for "Didn't sell as many records as the others".

If they want to play a pop hit that people remember and love, I wish they'd play Over Under Sideways Down. Of it's time "Cars and Girls.." but you still think "WHAT IS THAT INCREDIBLE GUITAR PART DOING IN A POP RECORD AND WHY DOES IT WORK SO DAMN WELL!!"
