Looking for other musicians to collaborate with on projects

I am a new member here but not so to the music business as I have been an accomplished studio musician, producer and arranger with contacts in the music industry here in the USA. I am looking for other musicians and singers to collaborate on projects that we can present to commercial interest.

yeah, I have been wondering about that, too. I could send you info on a german solo artist I currently work for that has lots of potential, but I'm not quite sure thats what you are asking for, is it?

I have heard a few on Wikiloops that have potential but wonder if they really care to take their talent to the next level otherwise just lots of good fun here.

Just a update:

We have produced two singles so far with the help of Wikloopi members. These singles have already generated commercial interest.

Jamming is fun and often times can generate great music. This is an opportunity for anyone that is interested in taking their music to the next level.

Okay, it seems that several members here have contacted Dick with concerns about what I am doing here or if a jam that they have posted is being used commercially without their knowledge or permission.

In my initial post here I asked if you are interested in working with me to PM and we will discuss. Actually no one has done so. Yes we have produced a couple of singles and there were a couple of wiki members involved but you know who you are and these contacts were made by myself directly to the members. The fact that there maybe an opportunity on the table does not involve anyone other than these members and is not a done deal by far, just talking with someone that is interested in licensing. The song in question is one that I originally wrote and I had one members sing and other play bass.

Just so everyone understands.. if you want to collaborate on a project and we have an opportunity we will discuss what is fair at that time depending on your involvement. Generally any royalties will be split equally unless we decide otherwise ahead of time. There is nothing underhanded going on here or mysterious, just people making music together and if something that we produce is given an opportunity then we all benefit.
