[closed] Ticket - Wave file is cut short upon download

Look at track #169119 - As you can see from the screenshot the size is supposed to be 42.41MB but when you try to download it's cut off and not it's full size :O

Seems a bit weird as it was uploaded as a wave file and the MP3 was generated correctly from that wave file :O

Something fishy going on? ;)

I grabbed a couple of wave files of GemmyF just now, both were cut short. 6:34 became 1:58. So it seems it's not just my upload :/

still doing it.... almost exactly in half the Mix file and if an HD track is loaded --also the same --exactly half

Jim got me thinking, and upon checking all wave files now have the same filesize :O 30.713 KB - Some global upload size limitation on the new server?

YEP that must be the issue-----a size limit in the code------I loaded a 25.8 meg file and it downloads 25.8 meg file.......thus concludes the test......NO trimming of the wav file

EDIT: It's not just new uploads, seems all wave files from the beginning of time is affected :O

folks, I'm still debugging quite a bit of load issues (after work, that is... doing nightshifts again here...) and have not come around to this issue yet.
The problem definetly rests on the downloading end (possible memory limitation on the server), the original old files are definetly not cut as they rest untouched on a seperate server, don't worry too much.
I'll try to come around to this issue tonight, stay tuned.

Makes sense! :) Could be memory_limit=32M in PHP.ini, if the files are buffered into memory before download? :)
