Hello from new member

Hello, I'm Phil from France.
I play the 4 strings banjo for about 5 years.
I've also played bass long ago and trumpet in ska and reggae bands.
Given up the trumpet because I became too lazy to blow hard.
I'd rather like to sit easy in a rocking chair and pick my strings.

I've got nothing to show off, but I find the idea to jam with people from all over the world very exciting.
That's why I came here...

Sorry for bad english, hope I will play better than I speak.

Hello Wikiloopers new friends,

Not so long I discovered this site but it quickly became my new companion.
I often randomly play tracks and many of them make me feel like picking my banjo on it.
It makes me explore styles I wouldn't have thought by myself.
I wish I could record a remix on many of them but alas I lack time for this.
(I'm not at the level I can say "Yeah! Take 1 is good, it's in the box!" ;) )
But the good tracks I hear and jam with will surely improve my playing by making me play every day.
Great pleasure to be here and gives much motivation!

I am Tom.
A natural born Bassplayer.;)
English is not my mother tongue, so sorry, in case of linguistic accidents.
Since 45 years I play bass as a hobby musician, but in between I had a short, three year long "career" as a professional.

I live in the southwest of Germany.

So, in case I will check all the functions of the Wikiloops site, I will upload some recordings later on.

At this stage, I use all those loops to jam across. And this is cool, 'cause of the complete liberty about doing it whenever I like and find the time.
