Hi Jane. These lyrics are very good. Love the line... she walks like a lady but she sure ain`t one. A guitarist may have to change or add a few words to make it fit obviously with your blessing. I feel an uptempo, modern kind of Arctic Monkeys groove. It is great you are writing and sharing this with us. You could let us know what styles of music you like because there is a wealth of good guitarists on here that would honour your lyrical integrity.

Bad luck on the string haha thank you. I'm really easy with word changes and genre, I appreciate that musicians need to change things to fit the words to tunes. I kind of wrote this to a country music style, however, a lot of my writing begins in one genre and ends in another. I am more concerned that someone likes the lyrics, not so much as to which genre it ends up as. I know enough to realise some of my lyrics could work equally well sung fast or slow. And I think the musicians should make the genre choice based on how they see it. I'm happy to reword if necessary so it fits better given some idea how it's wanted. x
