Perlentaucher

Das Leben ist
wie die tiefe, blaue See,
der Horizont
unendlich weit.

Ich schwimme hinaus
voller Sehnsucht und Fernweh,
und treibe dahin
im Strom der Zeit.

Ich tauche hinab
dorthin dringt kein Sonnenschein,
in die Dunkelheit von
Neptuns Reich.

Eine Perle verborgen
hinter einem Korallenhain,
einem kleinen Wunder gleich.

Perlentaucher,
ich bin ein Perlentaucher.
Die Dinge nehmen ihren Lauf.

Meine Suche hört nie auf.

Ich muss mich verstecken
ein Rudel Haie kommt daher,
doch sie bemerken mich nicht.

Ein paar Tiefseefische
ziehen ziellos hin und her,
und tauchen mich in fahles Licht.

Ich wühle im Schlamm,
Sedimente wirbeln auf,
eine Krake nimmt mich ins Visier.
