This one i used a trap-style drum kit with some low-end bass sitting underneath the groove. The idea was to keep plenty of space in the mix so other musicians can still add their own parts and take it in different directions. I'm not finished with this one yet—I plan to come back to it after wrapping up another project and experiment with a few different variations and drum kits to see where it leads.
