A Beautiful and Mysterious ballad by Michel. For me that Mystery is that somber vibe that my imagination runs away with that title representing many of life’s moments that just pop into my head of stuff that didn’t always go so well. I find I get more sentimental in my old age. The good news is that stuff is outweighed by the good moments. I added 0:05-4:03.

Oh, Dan, this is just indescribable!! Your saxophone solo is deeply moving and takes me on a deeply emotional journey through melancholy, yet somehow also through hope. The combination of Michel’s mysterious ballad with your haunting interpretation creates an atmosphere that stirs memories while offering comfort at the same time. Your raw, expressive phrasing gives the piece an almost tangible power of expression. I can follow you completely effortlessly, Dan!!! Because I think everyone knows those moments—of pain, grief, or the feeling of having done something wrong.
