It's quiet outside...
But it won't be soon.
Blood feud simmering,
Under the moon.
Moon looks down,
And begins to weep,
P*ssing her sorrow out,
On to the street.

Clarion call,
To the children of the downfall,
The marching feet,
Of the army of the backstreets.

Tin can rattle,
Blown on the wind.
Feet in the alleyway,
Soon it begins.
Mouths run dry,
As the fingers twitch,
Razor blade edges,
Scratching an itch.

Taking it all,
Like the muggers in the town hall,
Forbidden meat,
For the army of the backstreets.

Death is granted,
Life is a dream,
We don't matter,
That's how it seems.
Power spits,
Down into your face,
Are you gonna take it?
Or burn this place.

Having a ball,
Like the scrawlings on a brick wall,
Feeling the heat,
From the army of the backstreets.
