Waldo scratched out a guitar lead on his Strat thing. He told me this tune needs a bass player! Thanks to Keeper and rootshell for this inspiring jam.

WaldoBear Oh, man, so nice of you to say that! I was going for awesome, because your template is just that. Your sound really took me back to the times when I was hearing bands like Genesis (early) and Pink Floyd, and a lot of other prog rock bands of the '70s. I always really loved that sound and somehow this one grabbed the same way. It was a thrill to write a lead for this one. And I'm finally starting to get my Strat-thing to sound the way I want it to, which was an added bonus! Many thanks. :W:W:W +1

rootshell awesome:W I stumbled across that tone by messing with some settings, I really liked the shimmer but also that sorta faint 12string sound too :) thx so much for the compliment, cheers :W +1

WaldoBear It's a very cool sound you achieved for sure. I'm using Studio One Pro 7 for my DAW, and believe it or not, I asked ChatGPT how to get a "clean distortion" sound similar to a few of my favorite professional guitarists using only the built-in effects in the DAW, and it told me what to do and I got pretty much what I was looking for. I wish I could get more sustain on the high notes, but other than that, it helped me nail down that huge sound I used on your tune. AI is useful for a lot of things, but I will never use it to compose. That job is for us humans! +1

Excellent guitar add. I started using Air Delay Pro to get a more subtle sustain than with reverb--something like that might get what you want.:) +1

Cool tone! Nice touch on that guitar, those whammy bar bends Waldo does remind me of Holdsworth. Tell Waldo he can play for sure :W +1

WaldoBear LOL! I'll be sure to pass on the compliment! Alan Holdsworth, RIP. I saw him play live once at a club in Chicago. +1
