The song draws inspiration from the Caucasus but also from southern Italy, particularly the Pizzica Salentina. I changed the time signature from 4/4 to 6/8. I added percussion, accordion, cello, and flute. I hope I've conveyed the feeling.

Very temperamental are the Salentinas! :D :D :D This is very interesting, and surprising that you found this flavor in my vocals. Thank you! Saletinas are added to folk Caucassian, medieval Irish, orchestral, rock, bossa, jazzy, realized so far. Well done, Kinook! :) <3 +1

Kinook Well... In this song, you use your voice to evoke... so it's natural that a wide range of emotions come to the fore. And they're all tied to each person's culture and life. Here on WL, there are people from all over the world, so... :D:D +1

Kinook Thanks for the comment, Wade. Salento is a region in the Puglia region of southern Italy, where this unique tambourine rhythm comes from. It's the "Taranta" or "Pizzica," which is also a unique dance. Every year they hold a major festival called "Notte della Taranta" with many international artists. And every year the Artistic Director is different, which gives the festival a different feel. There's a lot of stuff on YouTube. ;) +1

Wade I'm familiar with the music style of a tarantella. Is this the same or a derivative? +1

Kinook "Tarantella" is a generic term for a series of popular dances and rhythms from southern Italy. "Taranta" or "Pizzica" is an exorcism rite used to induce a trance and cure (especially women) spider bites (the tarantula). The pizzica (Taranta) has more pronounced drum rhythms; the tarantella can be more melodic and "sunny." +1
