frankyguitar I don't know... I think it's like everything else in life: if you meet the right people at the right time, anything is possible. I don't know if you're familiar with Roosevelt Wardell? For me, he's one of the most gifted pianists I know. Cannonball Adderley also recognized his incredible potential. He played with many jazz greats but only released one record under the name Roosevelt Wardell Trio, “The Revelation.” He probably missed out on a really big career because he just didn't meet the right people at the right time. It's a shame because I love that one album more than anything. +0
