I added two guitar tracks to this fabulous rhythm section of Keeper, Marceys, and Ernie440. Please see https://waldobear.substack.com/p/sell-the-place for more details. Please note: this is a correction to the original mix I posted on 11/15/2025. It had a timing issue between the drums and piano as Marceys kindly pointed out. This is fixed, but the original mix and metadata had to be deleted.

Good job !
I’ve read what you wrote on your website.
Hat off for your description and credit about wikiloops and musician involved here.

About your approach (Because you talked about « project »), I am the opposite, I don’t know any theory and only play by « instinct ».
That’s why I admire people like you, chasing the « knowledge » (and of course, improve and refine skills/playing) :)

On an other side, it’s fresh and cool to let the feeling flows without « analyzing »… let your mood drives is not only creative, it’s also a furtive happiness fuel for our soul.

Once again, thanks to wikiloops, nice to meet you.

WaldoBear Thank you very much!

I understand about your approach as well, and I think it is also totally valid. I try to let my ear be the ultimate guide, but I have found that for jazz or any other styles where there are key changes, without at least a little bit of theory to guide me, I struggle more to find my way through. But that's just my issue.

I know there are many great musicians who cannot read a note and will never need to. Someone once said that there are only two types of music: good, and bad. Good music is good music no matter how it gets made, and there is an abundance of it here.

Thank you for the warm welcome, and very nice to meet you as well. I hope I will contribute to one of your mixes someday soon. :)
