Got up and went down the road
To the 7-11 for some food
After drinking all night
At the lights I didn\'t stop
The cop came and pulled me over
Said boy what you doing?
You been drinking

Not a sobriety test oh!!!

I shouldn\'t be drinking and driving
You\'re right but I was hungry
Didn\'t want to have a hangover
So I got some ginger ale and bag of chips
But it wasn\'t quite right
Cause it made me sick
That cop he said: boy it\'s too late for this stuff
You\'re endangering others lives
Don\'t you know how to drive?
Not when you\'re drunk....

I took the test and passed with flying colors
even though i was so drunk I couldn\'t even stand
When he started taking that pen light

He said: follow this pen and don\'t move your head
keep your eyes straight ahead
and only let them follow the light...

Somehow I managed to escape it that night
He let me go..I don\'t know..I won\'t ever do it again
I was pretty lucky almost got myself in some trouble
Never drink and drive boy
I know sometimes we do silly things
But when you take other peoples lives in your hand
it ain\'t right no

If there\'s anything that I learned
I ain\'t gonna get behind the wheel after Jim Beam
I was a fiend....
I learned my lesson, got off easy..
with just a warning
