Thanks to DidierS for this spring chorus and the opportunity to have a unfettered ramble with no goal or preconceived notions. Nothing serious, and not even really musical, just being a part of nature I guess.

simply brilliant Wade <3 light, green and a source of note flowing from your sax... +2
Wade
Wade I'm so happy that you and others seem to be able to relate to this. Thanks so much Thierry! +1
Bradford
I like this. I don't recall hearing you meander with your unique voice like this. As the song progressed, the birds started tuning into and cherishing your playing. +1
Wade
Wade Very happy that you and others have found something in this that you like. Thanks so much Bradford! +0

Here I am once again in the jungle with the gorillas, and of course, I am not making this journey alone. The settlers from the grasslands are all here. Over in the shed, little Dorothee is playing the saxophone. I think she has an excellent teacher because she plays so well that she will become very famous one day. Birds are everywhere, as is typical in the jungle. back to work. Dorothee continues. lovely. or is her teacher playing himself?? <3 +1
Wade
Wade So glad that this brings pictures and stories to mind. Also many thanks for the water sounds you added. So peaceful! +1

Wow - I like your interpretation Wade. You put a calm and contemplative voice behind the rather excited springtime chirping of the birds. To me they are somehow stressed, like before a storm. A challenge for the next ad:) I'll keep an eye on it.<3 +1
Wade
Wade Hopefully no storm coming...just peaceful communion with nature. Cheers Rene! +0

Super ramble:D +1
Wade
Wade Thanks David!. I've been wanting to attempt some random improvisations and this finally gave me the excuse. +1

Well done Wade!
“Catalogue of birds” is a work for piano by Olivier Messiaen consisting of thirteen pieces, composed between October 1956 and September 1958 and dedicated to birds.
Let's keep whistling!

Wade I don't know Messiaen's "Catalogue of birds", but know some of his other works. A great experimenter and composer of the 20th century! Thanks once more for the inspiration for this. +0
DidierS
DidierS I didn't want to show off my knowledge but simply point out that birds are little musicians who continue to inspire us... +1
Wade
Wade So true! I'm extremely grateful to be fortunate enough to live in very rural areas where I can always hear birdsong. +0

Wade up in the trees with the birds :o this is really unique Wade. it went from an outdoor experience to now maybe an area where one is sitting outside, enjoying a quaint location, and maybe there's a house with the window open, inside, someone playing the sax, and the sounds all blend together for a peaceful experience <3 +1
Wade
Wade It's so rewarding to hear when music conjures stories and images. Best compliment ever! Thanks Nick. +1

I wonder how birds would react to your playing:) Love how sax naturally blends in ambience here +1
Wade
Wade A very long time ago I had a situation where a wild bird came and sat next to me as I played. Not happened since, but that thought is always with me. +1
