LittleWing I like those strings. Try DR Sunbeams if you like XLs. They are Nickle as well. Sting uses them.They are also a perfect fretless string. +0

LittleWing I used to switch very easily between xl and sunbeams. I prefer sunbeam over Xl but love them both.

My fav roundwound right now though are Rotosound Funkmasters on the Jazz bass. These are low tension and smaller gauge so you can shred like a guitar on them without tearing your fingers up.

KaiPlan Hello LittleWing :W... Yes, we absolutely agree on that :D. I've been playing these thin Rotosounds for ages. At the moment I have them mounted on the Alembic. The fretless bass I mainly play is a Pedulla. These D'Dadarios were installed at the factory, and because the sound was so great, I just stuck with this bass-strings. Best regards! +1
