Well... my sometimes Wikiloops partner in crime 'rootshell' remixed a track the other day and great as it was, I was really taken with the vocals. Unfortunately I have no idea what the lyrics meant, but to my ear they were beautiful, yet haunting... So I followed the remix tree down to its roots... When I read the description I immediately thought of a track I have had sitting on my computer for many years which as usual didn't have any ...

So, the song is about two feuding old Welsh royal houses, Mathrafal and Aberffraw.
‘lladd yr holl elynion’ “kill all the enemies” … all the muso’s that added, totally kicked a$$ and picked up the atmosphere of the song without knowing the meaning lol

Koldov Thanks man! Actually it was the other way round... I already had the music track written and recorded and did the manipulation with the vocal track. It's easier that way sometimes. The music sounded awful dropped to 60BPM, the riff didn't work, lost it's feel and sounded muddy. The vocal track was easier, Audacity (didn't have my DAW as I did it in my lunch hour at work) has an option to change tempo (without changing pitch). There's less to worry about with the vocal track too, less frequencies and just less 'stuff'. So I put the vocals in (luckily Seren had added a 'naked' vocal) and changed it to 80BPM. Mostly it works OK sometimes not, I'm sure it's not 'studio' quality, but it ain't bad. I think it turned out alright! :) +1
