trying to get my head round this Funk thing ! probably need to buy an Alto... Thanks for the jam guys nice work. The HD is just the Sax , use as much or as little as you want in your remixes.

Not sure what you're using, but sounds more like a muted trumpet. EWI? Nicely played with a good bluesy feel. +1

Wade Didn't mean the comment to be critical, just an unusual tone, not bad, just not very sax like, which is OK. For many years I purposely tried to sound like a trombone. I still like that tone, which I get with my Martin Tenor. Muted trumpet is a great sound that maybe you should put some focus into? I sure wouldn't mind having that tone in my tool kit! +0

Wade IMHO funk is mostly about a rhythmic feel. Tone, attacks etc. can be anything that you think fits. Lots of players use (overuse?) altissimo. Kind of depends on whether you want to be inside the music or standing on top of it. +0
