Today I decided to try and find out exactly what model the bass is. I bought it in the 80's used for $50. I never knew the model as the only description on the bass is Epiphone.
Finally found it at vintageguitarandbass.com

Apparently it is a 1971 model 1820. Has an interesting history but unfortunately its not worth very much. I have the short scale model.

Ernie440 Wow that's awesome, that's an old epi!! Great link! May not be worth a lot but a nice little old treasure. It sounds really nice on this track and your play is sweet. Had a short scale for a while an ibanez semi hollow but I didn't like the sound or play that much .. so I gave it to my nephew haha I really would like a nice solid body short scale ... you can really bend notes and get some great sounds ... ie. Jack Bruce and his short scale EB3 gibson. This is so cool Frankie, thanks for sharing!! :W:D +1
