Slow Go
Nothing like a slow ballad to expose the shortcomings of my current electronic trigger setup. The subtlety, the finesse, the expression I just cannot achieve, even with the acoustic cymbals. I'm sure my triggers can be set up better for their dynamic response but I've not really bothered because I'll be back on my acoustic kit soon enough. So I have either 'really quiet' or 'really loud' but no real middle ground between the two.

It may not suit your perfectionist tendencies, but sounds pretty good to me! The feel and beats are there. Subtleties? That's a whole different realm that most drummers never enter.
