rootshell hey thanks DirkL :W ooof...favorite bands, that's a loaded question haha. early on was Dokken, totally love George Lynch's playing style. big fan of Billy Sheehan and Steve Vai (Flexable album), their collab with David Lee Roth on "Eat Em n Smile" is one of my fave albums. just about any hair metal band from the 80s LOL. of course, classic rock too. others like alice in chains, STP, sound garden, pantera, down, COC, mad season, etc. my chemical romance, panic at the disco, bullet for my valentine, system of down (big fan), static-x, tool, sevendust, disturbed, the urge. i do like this style of playing though, kind of busy and percussive to the drums in some way, similar to sevendust and disturbed. +2
