So glad I'm not the only one here who liked Joe and his songs, it was really sad hearing the news on Sunday. I've been lucky enough to see many of my country heroes live in concert over the years, Joe among them. It was at a festival in Angels Camp Ca. in the early 2000's. Well I think he's singing now with the rest of the country angels that went before him, Waylon, Marty, Johnny and Merle among the other favorites I was lucky enough to see.

Besides his wonderful country he sang, in my opinion, the best rendition of SRV's "Pride & Joy" I ever heard. He was simply a great singer/entertainer/man.<3<3
Been a sad couple of weeks with losing Kenny, John Prine having the virus, and now Joe. As they say-"Heaven's got a hell of a band"...don't think they need John anytime soon.<3

bluvation Yes it's been a sad week for country music Keith, I just heard that another of my favorite singer/songwriters John Prine is in critical condition with Corona virus, it's just gets worse. :|
You're right buddy he was more than just another country singer and well loved by the country music community. My favorite song of his is Ships That Don't Come In.
