When I first got into drumming particularly rock, there were some very fine but now I think some largely forgotten bands such as UFO, Lone Star and earlier Judas Priest (particulalry with Simon Phillips)..........anyway todays Self Isolated Drums are a kind of Retro Rock Shuffle inspired by these guys......hope its useful for any style at all:) Thanks for listening as ever

CameAndWent4-20 I don’t comment on things I don’t understand...rock drumming and forensic psychology being amongst them but what I can say with regard to this track is how you manage to mic so many things up and get it to sound like this amazes me. I have a hard enough time with just one hooter....fabulous work :W +1

PJE I believe rock Drummers can take a bit of understanding, maybe due to their attraction to loud pounding primal beats and intensely primitive urges to try and replicate them endlessly and I am definitely not competent to stand trial as any forensic psychologists would tell you....but I am fortunate to have had wonderful sound engineer accomplices.....I mean friends :D thanks so much Alex:W +1
