You can start here economically if you have a bass to replace this type of bridge, I had this bridge and it sounds really good with flatwound strings, you can feel the touch of the string like what you hear in the freestyle Ibanez +1

GlezBass Maybe if you have a preamp sound better, be equipped on the bass or external (my Ibanez has it external). I installed this same Ebay system connected directly to the OUT output of the bass and it sounded great without preamp !! I could also gain a signal with the GAIN of the sound interface, it is a question of trying for little money, you will get another different sound !!! +2
