A naked singularity not only emits radiation of all frequencies but, given enough time, will emit any object of which you can conceive! I like to think that perhaps that's the explanation for the sounds on this tune.... an alien artefact orbiting a black hole.... Played my six-string on this for the first time in many years so it's a bit more fumbled than usual! :) You may find the little bass motif in the intro familiar....

GrooveEnth Ah - I'm so glad someone spotted it! I thought it was kind of appropriate for this kind of journey through space :) Thanks so much for kind words - means a lot to know people are listening and appreciating it :) +1

apsummerlin Man, I didn't catch the Star Trek theme the first time around. Very cool! +1

I love what you've done here, great use of delay and moods. That change @ 3:02 is fabulous, like a drifting in space sound, almost as if it meant to indicate vastness of space, before the sudden change at landing! very good and clever!! ;) +1

GrooveEnth Thanks bud - yeah, I really like that section - really sparse but it just seems to build and build with the synth and percussion gradually ramping up. As I was playing it I kept thinking I should break out a bit but it was sounding so good with with constant bass that I decided to leave it. Love that bass drum pattern as well! One of my favourite bits is the way the kick seems to break out and through the bass intro - I really like the interaction there into the main part! :) +0
