Upon hearing this creation of Mario's and realizing what had inspired it, I felt I must leave it be. Then, I closed out wikiloops and open was a word document with these words in it:

Beyond the obvious beauty and pain of this I'm hearing a very different voice and texture from you where the tone is more important than inflection. A very pure voice that delivers with a "purity" that enhances solemnity of this tragedy.

I have had to pour myself a glass of wine to hear this quietly, because the first time I have heard it I have been paralyzed by so much beauty in Devin's voice, his description of how he has elaborated is very close to the parable of the person who loses his life suddenly, his spirit does not really realize that he leaves our world and lives among us in some way ....
