Fretless bass line EQ like a upright bass
Gradually I'm improving on the walking bass, my subject pending on bass, but this jam can be heard thanks to the fantastic groove of Nadrek
Technical info to interested bassists or loopers:
-- BASS: Marcus Miller Sire bass fretless Thomastik flatwound strings touch on neck pickup with bridge sound
- Set EQ on the bass: flat active EQ with 60% low 50% med 70 % treble

Nice one. I think I'll record a take without my left-hand bass so that it doesn't interfere with your bassline.

I have reduced the bass of your left hand a little to mix low frequencies with Audacity, this is the result...

I also added a bit of treble for the hit hat and a bit of compressor in its B3 line, the result I think is optimal ;)
