Or variations on a theme... This has a lot of similarities with my previous template - straight beats with simple changes. But that's modern music folks for us drummers! As usual, I jammed with just the different sections in mind. Anyway, this template is entirely played using 16th notes on the hi-hat/ride. I just don't use this beat often enough but it is the perfect beat to demonstrate the key to a drummer's feel: the flow between every hit you play. ...
