Biografía
I started playing guitar at 8 years of age and stopped almost immediately. I am left-handed and was being taught songs like Mary Had a Little Lamb and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with the left hand.
I wanted to learn Rock and Roll. Also, I am ambidextrous and I couldn't fret the guitar with natural skill properly. I stopped taking lessons at 8, and walked back into a music store when I could afford lessons and my first right handed guitar layout. The second guitar survival for me didn't happen until I was 17. Accordingly, I have been playing for about 40 years without getting any directly taught lessons (I couldn't afford the cost of lessons and delved into tablature). I can read musical notation very slowly.
I have been getting instructions from Ben Eller on Youtube for the last couple of years trying to improve my skill level.
Music wise I enjoy rock bands mostly; Boston, The Pursuit of Happiness, Gene Loves Jezebel, Eric Johnson, Andy Timmons, Joe Satriani, The Tubes, Chicago, Cheap Trick, Genesis, Billy Idol, Jefferson Starship, Don Henley, The Eagles, Rush, The Police, Sting and many other artists.
Classical; Tchaikovsky, Bach, Beethoven, Wagner
Instrumentos
I play guitar of all types. Electric, acoustic and bass guitar. I have a Takamine EG10C for an acoustic-electric and an Ibanez RG8570Z in Royal Blue for an electric. I have a Jackson mini bass guitar.
I'd like a 12-string to round out my collection.
I have a Yamaha electronic piano in my bedroom. I bought this as a gift hoping to inspire my wife to play. Unfortunately, the inspiration lasted for about 10 seconds and left me poor.
I have an Akai MK3 Mini keyboard. I don't play keyboard but have come up with a couple of things using it.

My recording setup is done with Reaper as my DAW. I pass audio through a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (3rd generation) to my computer. I built my computer from purchased parts. The computer is running Windows 11.
I mostly play my Ibanez RG8570ZRB electric. I also have a Takamine EG10C acoustic-electric. I have a couple of additional guitars but don't use them. I have a Parker Mojo which was destroyed by a luthier :(
I have a Washburn HM series electric guitar (was very inexpensive and the neck moves just a little bit at the joint area). This guitar and the Parker have phenolic (plastic) fretboards.
I have an red colored Ibanez RG570. It's been dinged a lot with chunks of paint missing and doesn't have the same type of bridge as my RG8570 which is unfortunate.
