This guy is fantastic Wolfgang.. never heard of him (not a big jazz follower)... I give him a 10/10 for astounding skills and keeping a solo standup bass jam interesting ... unfortunately only a 3/10 for his cover .. not sure I'd recognize it as come together ... Paul McCartney rolled over in his grave and he's still alive! hehehe :D:W I'm joking, it really is GREAT!! :W

Yeah, Brian *is* cool, and it was our Gijs (Fivestringer) who first recommended to listen to him. And my brother said pretty much the same - almost couldn't recognize the 'cover' part in this.

Here's another video where you see him starting at a bit before the 14 minute mark - but this one's interesting for us bass players anyway - oh, and they all play standards, so 'covers' as well:
