I've been working on a longish post for the forum, 5 years on Wikiloops is a good time for some reflections.

"... a longish post for the forum" I'm looking forward to that most definitely <3

I'm sorry I haven't written to our diary. I haven't been active on Wikiloops anyway, I'm sorry about that too.

I always spent a lot of time mixing, but I couldn't make good-sounding songs anymore, so I lost my enthusiasm for mixing. I felt that it was better to spend my time practicing playing bass, rather than spending time mixing, which was rewarded with three thumbs up.

But otherwise, playing has been fun.
I play now in shitty Cover band, I still argue with the teacher at the adult education center, and I am more and more relaxed when I'm playing.

Sundays are the most fun days at the adult education center. We have a band room reserved for 1.5 hours with the students, when we play without a teacher.
The best moment on Sunday is always when we play a Finnish punk rock song. Then we always move the instruments a little bit, which gives me space to move and fool around.

So I have 2 bands, in a adult education center and a cover band. The first one is ending soon, so luckily the cover band is still going.
(I made a band poster for fun with AI. It's just for my own use, but I'm posting it here anyway🙂).

Great to see you here again Aito... I was wondering about you. I made a slight improvement to your Band Poster.

That's an improvement!

You made me smile, even though I have to practice the 'Man Who Sold the World' song here. I don't want to play it anymore.:D

Just thinking out loud, but maybe there are Loopistas here who would be prepared to mix other peoples tracks?

I was watching live from YouTube as people spent time in an English pub. For a moment, I had the feeling that I would like to be British. People were smiling, singing, chatting, and everyone was in a good mood, all those are things, that I am not in a public place myself.

So, I wouldn’t mind citizenship of another country for a small pub moment, I’m not picky, any fun country will do. I want that kind of happiness too.

Well, Finland is ok place too. It is rare that i go to the bars, but last week i did that. The guitarist of our band promised to buy me a beer, so naturally, I rushed to get that drink.
I regretted my decision a little, because five hours later I found myself walking home, i was too drunk and i had to walk 5Km.

Well, the good thing was that I felt like a musician for the first time, since I still had my bass with me after band practice. I passed the musician test, because I managed to get my instrument home in one piece.

Otherwise, nothing has happened here.

Yo Yo Yo people, just returned from my short holiday in beautiful Sardinia! We really enjoyed it, the landscape is beautiful, the food is great and not too expensive, the Sardi people are very friendly. Compared to Sicily which we visited a while ago it was much nicer, frinedlier and cleaner.

The roads are fantastic, even the small roads that normal tourists don't use are ok, I got to go back there with my motorbike one day. So many curves, unreal.

We visited a few Nuraxi, which are buildings made about 3000 years ago, only to b found in Sardinia. There are hundreds of them... very impressive even though we don't know today too much about why they build it and what for... the picture is from Su Nuraxi (Barumini)

Anyways, if you can, go visit Sardinia :)
