Have finally arrived back in New Zealand with a major case of jet lag. Even through this (temporary?) grump I’m till thinking of the amazing wiki meet and all the incredible people who made this possible. Thanks to all of you and especially Richard, Diana and Richard’s parents who embraced all of us like family. The organizational skills and dedication just astound.

Special thanks to Martin and Elly for their wit and humour that carried us through the long hours of blockades, diversions, and mayhem of the Calais blockade to finally unite me with my beloved Jenny (you’re here earlier than I expected!).

The venue was outstanding and made so much sense with good accommodation that allowed those of us who needed some sleep to do so, and those who wanted to play to not worry about keeping everyone awake. The food was very good without any of us having to take time to do all the cooking, cleaning, etc. As much as I enjoyed Urft, this was a major upgrade and so well worth the price.

Hugs to all of the playmates who made this the best ever.

Well I guess I'm healthy, Not feeling that fine yet. Day becomes night, night becomes day, and I'm back to rainy cold winter. Still carrying the warmth of our experiences in Stenfelid which will see me through. Bloody jet lag gets worse as you get older. Didn't bother me up to 50 years old. Still worth it and should suffer in silence...but don't.

Terrific video that gives the flavor and intimacy of this meet. This was especially wonderful for me as I got a chance to see and hear so many fine performances that I'd missed. Amazing to see and hear all those talented people with no agenda other than to participate and share. What a joy.

Awesome from both you, and Diana. Great footage, nicely cut together leaving a really good feel of what it was like to be there. Hopefully the guys who didn't come will find it, view it, and feel the love enough to want to come next year. Danger is we'll have to book early for places!

ps the video booth was a great idea...makes al the transitions easier and breaks up the overlong jams..(red face ) guilty as charged.
