I feel more like you're in the studio, trying to do my part to make a good template. Even if I leave game mistakes in it, for which one would probably be stoned in the studio:D But I don't want to pretend to be the "perfect professional" and decorate myself with praise that I'm not entitled to, but sometimes I also use it to practice.

Yes but any how vibes of live performance is great thing. So no problem (i think) to dream that our jam sessions are live somewhere in the World. :W

I’m taking this opportunity to see if any Wikiloopers would be interested in participating in a "semi-disconnected" concert (with musicians on stage and/or online) featuring pre-prepared tracks that still allow for sections of improvisation. I’ve already shared this idea with Richard and the mayor of my village, and the response has been quite positive, which is what prompted me to make this proposal.

This event could take place within a year or two. It would be held in a concert venue with a capacity of around 150 people. There is no need for a large number of performers on stage, and the few Wikiloopers being considered would be warmly welcomed in the Bourges region of France. There are many wonderful sites to visit (châteaux, excellent cuisine, Loire wines, etc.).

Good idea—though we'd have to see if Richard isn't planning to do another "Barnadise" in a year or two. ?

For me it's a couple of things, It's kinda training or practicing but as a game and make my brain keeps fresh, as I like to make jams kinda sudden with not much thinking. It's way better tha sudoku :D

Also wikiloops gives the opportunity to jam with not only great musicians but great human beings from all around the globe.

Playing live is cool for me when what I'm playing match my taste B), I really miss playing metal live, but well at least I play punk rock based music with the actual band I'm in. And by far my favourite kind of live performance is playing on the street, is the funniest.

I also prefer improvisation and the writing proccess better than playing live.

This sounds like a wonderful idea and a great opportunity for anyone who is able to take part! For those of us who are a bit older and not quite as tech-savvy, a more detailed explanation of how online participation works would be helpful in getting more loopers involved. Best of luck with your project! :W

This sounds like a cool idea. A bit of a further explanation for the "older" players qould be very helpful, as Gerry suggests.
Would the oopers involved be able to be seen? I what platform would be utilized?
Thanks for this idea.

Exactly all depends how the things will be organized.Probably initially organized bands with fixed tracks to develop. Why not some kind of selection.Any how this is not a commercial project just live music entire but of course such things required financing(stage, sound engineering equipment, lighting.

It's an ambitious project, but a very appealing one. We'll have to work out the details, since the task is immense. Otherwise, yes, in principle.

Sounds like a cool idea.

I have to admit, I'm more of a "quick jammer" on here, never committing anything memory, it's just in that moment of coming up with something, playing/recording, and then forgetting it lol.

Wow, France would be cool, I'd have to prep and see what a visit might cost. "Semi-disconnected" would be interesting, not sure what that entails.

Sounds like something requiring planning, but a great idea nonetheless.

"Yes we can !"😂First and foremost, you have to come on an empty stomach, really thirsty, and ready to play.😂😂😂
