What I enjoy about Wikiloops is that when the Rock and the Blues feel a bit constrained for creative expression, it is easy to venture into another style. This collection is the first of two albums of forays into some of the many amazing jazz progressions on the Loops and with which I felt a lyrical and vocal click. Grateful thanks to nadrek, frankiejazz, Dan (itocpogo), Joao (jjdf - 2), RC Drummer, P-Tar, rumblinman, Paulfellows, Tyros4, lennycowler, Klaus (DFD), marches, OB LIx, alikamal, bleymehl, Wolfgang (wjl - 2), Pexe, Peter (pewi - 2), FrankieJ, MrAdamOnDrums and The Sleeve. Hope you have as much fun listening to the songs as I did in creating them.
Cover photo is me with my dear friend Diane Teh, lost to cancer soon after this was taken. Massively brave she was. Loved her music, and with a smile that could light up a city. Sorely missed.
